This is like an extension of KiHatsu’s speech to Seiki in volume 8. KiHatsu’s so great, I love writing in his voice. I don’t think he’d swear so much in an important speech, but you never know with KiHatsu ^_^;;; I wish I could have made this longer…

What was I supposed to say again? Ahhh, screw it.
Uhh… There ain’t anything good about war from the start! Heh… There’s an obvious statement if y’ever heard one. All the pain, suffering and loss it causes makes ya wonder if peace really is worth fighting for. I know all too well what it feels like to lose loved one. You all know I lost my oyaji and my an-chan, and… it just hurts. It hurts like hell. I’d seriously break apart if my entire family was wiped out, and that’s what wars do.
But, I want to fight the Yin.
I ain’t gonna fight them just because they killed my an-chan and locked up my oyaji for 7 years there – don’t get me wrong, I’m pissed at them for doing that – but this is for the sake of the whole country. Just cause they rule this country doesn’t mean we can just let ‘em do whatever they want. You’ve heard the rumors. The King is deranged, the Queen’s murdering the innocent, and as a result, Chouka is a hellhole. If anyone’s gonna put an end to this, I want it to be me.
To be honest, I ain’t feeling too optimistic about this. But if you respect me as Seiki’s leader and support me all the way, I just might be able to pull it off.
I may not have KiShou oyaji’s wisdom, or Hakuyuukou an-chan’s brains, but look at all these allies we’ve got! Not only did we get Chouka’s former Buseiou, we also have a doushi from Mount Konron as the tactician. Cause of our connection with Konron, we have external sennin forces backing us up. With their help, we can knock down those damn youkai sennins who work for Chouka, and pull Chuu’oh outta his high throne!
This ain’t the time to be laying around on our asses, doing nothing. This is the time to unite and fight!
